Complete Media Group delighted to be working with Bangalore Express and The Painted Heron

Wednesday, October 14th, 2009

COMPLETE will be working with Bangalore Express EC3 on the launch of their new city venue.

Masterminded by Charles Hill and Yogesh Datta, creators of the award-winning The Painted Heron, Bangalore Express has an extensive menu which challenges the boundaries of Indian cooking. A contemporary take on traditional flavours and full of fresh, fragrant, wholesome dishes, the menu ranges from classic to contemporary with nods to India’s many distinct regional styles. It is split into categories such as tapas style dishes as well as more substantial dishes including oven roasted tandoori and dosa – Southern Indian rice and lentil crepes.

Situated in Corbet Court, opposite Leadenhall Market, Bangalore Express spans two floors. The ground floor has a lively bar - perfect for after-work drinks and bites - whereas the downstairs restaurant creates an intimate setting with booths and freestanding tables - suiting friends, couples and business groups alike. There is also a screened area which lends itself to larger parties of between 10 and 24 people.

With a full bar license and free wi-fi access, Bangalore Express is perfect for whiling away an hour with a pint or enjoying one of the many cocktails with friends after work - there is no obligation to eat, if you can resist!

Where have all the celebrities gone?

Friday, October 9th, 2009

Kirk Hoatson, Creative Director, Complete Media Group comments, “I can’t help observing that when there is guaranteed prime time television coverage and Mirror exposure there is little difficulty in securing celebrity patronage from Prime Minister downwards. However, when it comes to opening Sue Ryder Care’s Art Liberating Lives exhibition on the 15th December, WITHOUT A FEE or guaranteed media gratification, there is not a celebrity in sight.”

A frustrated Hoatson asks, “Is there anybody out there?”

About Sue Ryder Care’s Art Liberating Lives

Sue Ryder Care’s Art Liberating Lives is a nationwide, annual art competition that celebrates the power of art as a form of therapy, expression and liberation. It offers artists, of all abilities, the chance to exhibit work at London’s prestigious Mall Galleries as well as raise vital funds for Sue Ryder Care. Artists are invited to submit work in all mediums created to the theme ‘liberation’ and selected artworks, chosen by a panel of judges will be shown in an exclusive December exhibition.

35% (plus VAT) of the sale of each artwork selected to be exhibited will go directly to support Sue Ryder Care with the remaining going to the artist. Artists’ awards and prizes are also available. Money raised from Art Liberating Lives will help Sue Ryder Care continue to deliver quality care for people living with end of life and long-term conditions including; Cancer, Stroke, Brain Injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia, Huntington’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease and Motor Neurone Disease.
